The Advocate Washington Bureau Chief Mark Ballard said this morning he believes the recent vote along party lines for an impeachment inquiry of President Biden is pressure from far-right conservatives on Speaker Mike Johnson. The vote allows for an investigation to see if the President profited or was involved in any illegal business dealings with his son Hunter Biden. But Ballard points out that an actual impeachment is highly unlikely.

LSU’s 2024 football schedule is out and The SEC goes to 16 teams next year as Texas and Oklahoma joins the conference. The league is also getting rid of divisional play. Assistant Tiger Rag Editor William Weathers says the 2024 schedule look different with South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Oklahoma on it, but not Auburn and Mississippi State
