The Cordish Companies has broken ground on the $270 million LIVE! Casino & Hotel in Bossier City. The casino will be built on the site of the former Diamond Jacks casino. Principal of the Cordish Companies Jon Cordish says this will be the first land-based casino in northwest Louisiana.

The newly renovated casino will feature more than 47,000 square feet of gaming space, an upscale hotel, dining and entertainment venues. Scheduled to open in 2025.
