McNeese State President Daryl Burckel has announced he’s stepping down effective June 30th after seven years as the school’s leader. Burckel led the school through a couple of difficult years with the Covid pandemic and then Hurricane Laura. He’s been working in higher education for 31 years and doesn’t plan on going too far….
