Governor John Bel Edwards and First Lady Donna Edwards met with Governor Elect Jeff Landry and future First Lady Sharon Landry at the Governor’s mansion Monday. Edwards has said a smooth transition is important to him and said he and Donna were happy to meet with the Landry’s as they prepare to take on their demanding roles. Landry expressed appreciation for the Edwards’ willingness to help with a smooth transition.
