A Natchitoches Parish Grand Jury has returned a decision of “No True Bill” on assault charges filed by Natchitoches Parish President candidate Latorria Freeman against current President John Richmond. The criminal complaint alleged Richmond had a physical altercation with Freeman. Freeman a Democrat is in a runoff with Independent John Salter. The charges will be dismissed.
