The family of slain Northwestern State football player Ronnie Caldwell has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the university and the apartment complex where he was shot. That was just three days after Caldwell told his parents that his roommate had threatened him with a gun. State offices are closed today in honor of Veteran’s Day. The Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs is holding several ceremonies.
