According to the latest survey conducted by LSU’s Public Policy Research Lab, less than one third of voters in Louisiana are paying attention to the governor’s race. Low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines announces it will soon be adding daily non-stop flights between New Orleans and Las Vegas. The company says when the new route starts on November 13th, the plane is scheduled to leave The Big Easy at 7am and departures from Vegas will be 7:50pm Pacific time.
The Louisiana Lottery Corporation’s revenue is up for the 5th consecutive year in a row as it ended its 2015 fiscal year with 453 million dollars which is more than 3 million dollars from the prior year. Lottery Spokesperson Kim Chopin says they’re excited about this progress because it benefits the state.
