Louisiana Congressman Steve Scalise has seen the writing on the wall and has ended his campaign to be the next Speaker of the U-S House. Scalise could only afford to lose four votes from Republicans and there were at least 15 GOP lawmakers against him, despite receiving the House Republican nomination on Wednesday.
