LSU defensive tackle Mekhi Wingo knows that the game against Missouri will be a defining moment for the Tigers defense.

The Saints have found themselves in a two game losing streak after starting the season two and 0. The New Orleans defense is 11th in total yards per game at about 304, while the offense has struggled to click, producing just 285 yards per game this season which is 23rd in the league. Saints quarterback Dereck Carr acknowledged the team’s offensive struggles during this slide, but still has faith in his team’s preparations.

Louisiana Tech will try and stay undefeated in Conference USA play tonight as the Bulldogs face Western Kentucky. The Hilltoppers were picked to win the division in the preseason and are also undefeated in conference play. Bulldogs Head Coach Sonny Cumbie is optimistic that his team will win the battle tonight, but also has a healthy respect for this Hilltopper team.

LSU baseball will start their first fall team scrimmages today with what Head Coach Jay Johnson describes as a completely different team from last year. 6 of the 9 starting players for LSU’s national championship team last year have departed for the MLB including big stars like Paul Skenes and Dylan Crews. Tommy White is one of the three players who wasn’t eligible for the draft and will not be at fall practice since he is recovering from shoulder surgery.
