A painful loss for the Saints yesterday as New Orleans led 17-0 going into the fourth quarter and lost 18-17. Quarterback Derek Carr went down with an injury in the third quarter and backup Jameis Winston could not lead New Orleans to any points.
Based on reports Carr suffered an A-C sprain of his shoulder. The injury is not expected to be season-ending, but he is expected to miss some time. So that means Winston will likely get the start at quarterback this Sunday when New Orleans hosts Tampa Bay…

The Saints may have to sign another quarterback. Rookie Jake Haener is serving a six-game suspension and New Orleans does not have a Q-B on its practice squad. Ian Book is a possibility as he’s a free agent.
The LSU Tigers dropped one spot to 13 in the latest A-P Top 25 poll after a hard-fought 31-28 victory over Arkansas. LSU’s defense had trouble stopping the Razorbacks on Saturday night.
