Republican Richard Nelson has dropped out of the governor’s race, so now there are six formidable candidates left in the race, four Republicans, one Democrat, and one Independent. LA Politics-dot-com Publisher Jeremy Alford says it remains to be seen how Nelson pulling his name from contention and endorsing the front-runner will play out.
