An 84-year-old man was fatally injured after being hit by a car while driving an all-terrain vehicle near the intersection of LA Hwy 1126 and Nelson Road in Jefferson Davis Parish on Friday. Authorities say Robert Montie was killed when a Nissan Altima traveling at a faster speed hit him from behind, causing Robert R. Montie to be thrown from the 4-wheeler. The investigation is ongoing.
