Governor John Bel Edwards says more than 50-thousand acres have been burned by wildfires that have plagued the state. Louisiana Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain says downed trees from recent hurricanes are providing a lot of fuel to the wildfire. He says there was a federal program to assist property in removing downed trees. The average cost was 400 to 500 dollars…
