Judge Todd Hernandez sided with Common Core proponents yesterday and lifted the Jindal administration’s suspension of testing contracts tied to the controversial education standards. The governor’s office plans to file an appeal. Louisiana State Police have arrested 66-year-old Ernest Kickle Jr. of Leesville on rape and human trafficking charges. Vernon Parish officials received information that Kickle was attempting to buy a 10-year-old child for sex. Master Trooper Scott Moreau says Kickle was booked into the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Department Detention Center…
