The Louisiana Pardon Board met Monday and did not take up the 56 clemency applications filed by death row inmates. The Louisiana District Attorneys Association has asked the pardon board not to rush through these applications, while the Capital Appeals Project is pushing for the applications to be considered before Governor Edwards leaves office.
