Today is the deadline for lawmakers to get in their votes on whether or not to convene a veto override session. We’ll know their decision by tomorrow. “LAPolitics.com” publisher Jeremy Alford says he believes it will happen, but even so…will there be enough votes to actually overturn the Governor’s vetoes…?

Alford says the vetoes of three bills seen by some as “anti-LGBT” are the likely triggers to convene an override session.

State Police seek a hit & run driver that struck and killed man late last night on Highway 90 near Donner, in Terrebonne Parish. Trooper Ross Brennan says they have a double mystery right now; the identity of the victim AND the guilty driver…:

Offshore fishermen will be happy to know state Wildlife & Fisheries are installing Fish Attracting Device buoys in the Gulf, south of Venice. LDWF’s Mike McDonough says they’ll be easy to spot from your boat and improve your chances of landing a big one…:
