The state’s Wildlife and Fisheries Commission approves stricter catch limits on redfish in an effort to reverse the decline on stocks. The new state plan would reduce catch limits from five redfish per day, per angler to three. Also the minimum size allowed would increase from 16 to 18 inches while bull reds would be off limits to anglers.
