An elderly LaFourche Parish man is booked on child rape charges which allegedly occurred in the mid-1980s. Eighty-one year-old Warren Danos of LaRose is booked with Aggravated Rape. The Sheriff’s Office says they were contacted by a woman who claimed she was victimized by Danos as a child about 30 years ago.

Two southwest Louisiana men have been accused of stealing about 10 thousand dollars in alligator eggs. Twenty-four year-old Christopher Trahan of Lake Charles and 47 year-old Paul Cannick of Grand Chenier were cited for illegal possession of alligator eggs and not following refuge rules and regulations. LDWF spokesman Gabe Griffin says agents put in a lot of work on this one…
