The U-S Supreme Court issues an order that unfreezes Louisiana’s redistricting case which will likely result in a new Congressional map featuring two majority Black districts. The federal appeals court ruling can now rule the state’s current Congressional map violates the Voting Rights Act.

The Governor is back from Europe and is expected to use his veto pen this week. Will lawmakers seek to override him?
