SWEPCO says power has been restored to more than 200-thousand customers who lost power as a result of severe weather last Thursday night. In northwest Louisiana, there are still 22-thousand customers who do not have power. And the State Department of Health reports a 62-year-old Caddo Parish woman died after not having power for an extended period of time.
LSU beat Wake Forest last night, setting up another matchup tonight with the Demon Deacons. The loser goes home, while the winner advances to face Florida in the championship series. Paul Skenes could get the start on the mound. LSU’s ace pitcher has struck out 200 hitters and he’s donated 10-dollars for every strikeout to Folds of Honor, which provides scholarships to spouses and children of military and first responders who have died or are disabled.
