Louisianans that have a state-issued ID, driver’s license and/or vehicles registered with the Office of Motor Vehicles are urged to act after a global data breach could make their accounts vulnerable. Director of the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Casey Tingle

says they know passwords were not included in the data that was involved in the breach.

53-year-old Susan Johnson of Hammond, was killed by two vehicles Thursday night while trying to cross the road in Tangipahoa Parish. State Police say when Johnson was walking across Highway 3234 near Patti Drive she was struck by a 2020 Nissan Altima first and then a 2007 Toyota Yaris that was traveling behind the Nissan. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
