LSU football has received a commitment from a four star cornerback out of Tennessee. His name is Ondre Evans and he’s rated as the 20th best cornerback in the country according to 24-7 sports. Evans also considered Georgia and Alabama.

The Saints concluded their mandatory three-day minicamp yesterday and the players will not be back until training camp starts in about five weeks. New starting quarterback Derek Carr has looked good in the offseason workouts. Coach Dennis Allen is glad Carr will be leading the Black and Gold’s offense…

The Saints have added a couple of veteran wideouts. Lynn Bowden and Keke Coutee who participated in the minicamp on a tryout basis. Bowden and Coutte also have the ability to return punts.

Former Louisiana Tech star Teresa Weatherspoon is out as an assistant coach for the Pelicans. She’s been with the franchise since 2019 and had a close relationship with Zion Williamson.
