There are only a few days left in the legislative session, and the House and Senate are still haggling over the budget for next fiscal year. House Bill 1 must be approved before Thursday evening when lawmakers are required to adjourn. Under this bill drivers who were convicted of a DWI of .15 can waive the current waiting period to get their license back if they get a device installed in their vehicle that will not start unless they are sober in order to drive.
