The LSU Baseball team will begin its SEC tournament run at 9:30 this morning. The fifth-ranked Tigers will face South Carolina after their 9-0 win over Georgia yesterday. Louisiana Tech is also getting an early start today in the Conference USA Tournament. The sixth seeded Bulldogs will face third seeded Charlotte in Houston. The 49ers took two of three from the Bulldogs in March. Tech is the reigning Conference USA Tournament champion.

The Saints began OTAs yesterday and newly signed tight end Foster Moreau was on the field. The former Jesuit and LSU standout looks like he’s completely recovered from his Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis in March. The Saints also have Juwan Johnson at tight end. He’s coming off a 42-catch campaign where he also hauled in seven touchdowns. New Saints quarterback Derek Carr says they have a talented group of tight ends…
