Angel Reese had 24 points and 12 rebounds as she tied an NCAA record for double doubles with 33. Reese also broke the SEC record for rebounds in a season.

LSU will play Iowa on Sunday for a national championship as the Hawkeyes upset previously undefeated South Carolina 77-73.

The top-ranked LSU baseball team took care of ninth-ranked Tennessee again last night as the Bayou Bengals beat the Volunteers six to four to win the second game of the series. LSU took the lead for good in the fourth inning with back-to-back home runs from Brady Neal and Gavin Dugas (Doo-gahs). LSU goes for the sweep this afternoon at 1 PM.

Louisiana Tech downed Dallas Baptist five to two. Jonathan Fincher struck out seven in six innings for his fifth win of the year.

The Cajuns lost to Appalachian State three to two, and ULM remains winless in the Sun Belt play as they fell to Marshall 13-6.

McNeese crushed Houston Christian 15 to 5, Southeastern Louisiana knocked off UIW 10 to 2, Northwestern outscored UNO eleven to eight and Nicholls outlasted Lamar nine to eight in 19 innings.

Tonight the Pelicans host the Clippers. New Orleans has won six of its last seven.
