Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul is asking for prayers this morning for the families of two fallen officers who died in a helicopter crash in West Baton Rouge Parish. They were in pursuit of a vehicle running from police. Paul says the FAA is the lead investigator..:

At least 4 people have been shot at a gathering in Webster Parish at a Minden Park. Police Chief Jared McIver said they are still trying to sort out the details of what happened. Minden police are investigating. At least one of the injured was flown to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital in Shreveport.
