Jordan Thompson’s three-run homer in fifth inning snapped a four-four tie. ULM defeated La Tech ten to six, Houston ended McNeese’s seven game winning streak with a nine to six win, and the Cajuns clobbered Grambling 13 to 1.

Willis Reed, the New York Knicks Great, and Louisiana Legend died yesterday at the age of 80. Reed was instrumental in leading the Knicks to their only two championships. Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Chairman, Doug Ireland says after retiring, Reed returned to the place he called home – Lincoln Parish.
