U-S Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says House Majority Leader Steve Scalise’s Lower Energy Costs Act is dead on arrival if it reaches the U-S Senate. Scalise says the bill will restore energy independence, but Schumer says the legislation will lock America into the most dirty, expensive and volatile sources of energy.
