The Raiders will reportedly release quarterback Derek Carr at 4 PM today as he’s told Las Vegas he will not waive his no-trade clause. Carr met with the Saints last week and NFL analyst Mike Detillier says New Orleans is still very much interested in acquiring Carr, but so are other teams

The Titans, Panthers and Jets are also rumored to be interested in Carr, who is 31-years-old.

Former All-Pro offensive lineman Conrad Dobler has died at the age of 72. Dobler was known as one of the NFL’s dirties players. He played for the Saints for two seasons in New Orleans 1978 and 1979. The 79 team finished eight and eight, the first non-losing season in franchise history.

LSU right-handed pitcher Grant Taylor will reportedly miss the 2023 season as he needs reconstructive surgery on his throwing elbow. After an up and down freshman season, Taylor was competing for a spot as a starting pitcher for the top ranked Tigers.
