Former Saints Coach Sean Payton is heading to Denver. A trade has reportedly been worked out that will allow Denver to hire Payton as its new head coach and in return New Orleans will get the Broncos first round pick this year and a second round pick next year. The first round pick this year is the 29th overall selection.

Today is national signing day in football, the Ragin Cajuns added more players to their 2023 class, including Lutcher quarterback D’Wayne Winfield. Winfield was the Class 4A offensive player of the year after leading the Bulldogs to a ninth LHSAA title. He’s a dual threat QB who accounted for 70 touchdowns his senior season.
