An enhanced threat of severe weather exists this afternoon and into the overnight hours for much of the northern half of the state. In mid-December, a child and mother were killed in Caddo Parish by an EF-2 tornado that struck Keithville. Charlie Woodrum with the National Weather Service in Shreveport says another tornado outbreak is possible today

According to a new report from Consumer Affairs, Louisiana has the third worst roads in the country. They point to the D-plus rating the state received from the American Society of Civil Engineers and a report by TRIP that finds 46-percent of Louisiana’s roads are in poor or mediocre condition.
