The cause and manner of death for the child who was found in the Amite River on Christmas Eve is undetermined.

State Police says two people from Cut Off were killed in a three-vehicle wreck on Louisiana Highway One just north of the Leeville Tolll Bridge yesterday afternoon. The victims have been identified as 43-year-old Archie Duet and 53-year-old Guy Dupierre. L-S-P says Duet was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash.
