The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s office says they are looking for answers in the case of the little 7-year-old boy who was shot and killed as he was riding with his family in their vehicle over the weekend. They say it was 7-year-old Terrez Coleman who was pronounced dead at a hospital. Officials say the family of 5 was in their car when another vehicle passed and shot at them. Another child was hit but is expected to recover. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crimestoppers.

Forty-five years ago today one of the most descrutive hurricanes in US history made landfall along the Gulf Coast. Hurricane Camille was a Category Five storm when it churned over the mouth of the Mississippi River, before slamming into the Mississippi coast. Louisiana State Climatologist Barry Keim…:

Deputies in Ascension Parish are expected to identify the teen who was found dead last week near the Mississippi River in Donaldsonville. They are waiting for autopsy results to determine the positive identity of the victim. The body was found just a few days after 15-year-old Brandon Augustus disappeared.
