LSU is heading to the Citrus Bowl where they’ll face Purdue for the first time ever on the gridiron. The Boilermakers are champions of the Big Ten West. The game will be on January 2nd in Orlando. There’s a chance some major contributors to the 2022 team will not play in the bowl game and instead prepare themselves for the NFL draft. Coach Brian Kelly says they’ll have those discussions with those players…

The Ragin Cajuns will spend Christmas week in Shreveport as they’ll play Houston in the Independence Bowl on December 23rd. U-L Lafayette is making a school-record fifth consecutive bowl game appearance and first-ever trip to the Indy Bowl.

The Saints visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers tonight in Monday night football. New Orleans is four and eight, but still alive to win the NFC South as the Bucs are in first place with a five and-six record. New Orleans defensive end Cam Jordan says they can’t suffer any more losses…:

The Pelicans won their 4th straight game beating the Denver Nuggets 121-106 yesterday. Jose Alvarado put on quite a show in the game posting a career-high 38-points. The Pels are now 15-and-8 and will host Detroit on Wednesday.

Northwestern State won its sixth straight game last night and improved to 8-and-2 on the season with a thrilling 84-82 win over Southern. DeMarcus Sharp hit a jump shot at the buzzer for the win, handing the Golden Eagles their first loss on the season.
