The Council for the Development of French in Louisiana says just over 100-thousand students across the state are enrolled in 26 French immersion schools across eight parishes.

Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin is urging Louisiana voters to vote for constitutional amendment one which would prohibit voting for people who are not U-S Citizens. Ardoin says current language in the state constitution could be construed to allow non-citizens to vote in municipal elections…
