And it’s a good day for those who have wanted an expanded college football playoff. The College Football Playoff Board of Managers announced that a 12-team playoff will begin with the 2024 season. So who will make the playoffs. The six highest ranked conference champs automatically qualify and then the next six highest-ranked teams will receive at-large bids. The top four conference champs receive a bye and seeds five through eight will host a first round playoff game on their campus. Bowl games will make up the quarterfinals and semi-finals sites. The championship game for the 2024 season will be played January 20th, 2025.

Zion Williamson scored a season-high 33 points as the Pelicans defeated the Raptors 126 to 108 last night. Williamson was 12 of 15 from the floor.
