If you have LA Wallet, you can now add your conceal carry permit. Calvin Fabre (FAY-BREE) is the president of Envoc, the creator of the wallet.
LA Wallet is the app best known as a way to show Louisiana driver’s licenses. It’s used by a million and a half people. Fabre says what’s added to the app is influenced by requests in polls on the website, LA Wallet dot com.
Fabre says 300,000 people have added their hunting or fishing licenses to the app. Fabre says the third-ranking poll asks about adding insurance and vehicle registration cards.
Fabre says that the feature will go live in about a month. You can also add your child’s COVID vaccination status. LA Wallet is legal in Louisiana and some other southern states but it is not accepted as a legal federal ID to enable you to board an airplane.

It’s Cyber Monday, one of the busiest online shopping days of the year. Carmen Million, president of the Central-Louisiana Better Business Bureau, says before you enter your payment information, do your homework and make sure it’s a legitimate website.
Million says to also check that your anti-virus software is up to date on your computer and/or phone before you make an online purchase.
And when making an online purchase use your credit card, not a debit card.
And while there are plenty of bargains to be found today, Million says you might get an even bigger discount if you sign up for loyalty programs with some retailers.
Million says when you do sign up for loyalty or rewards programs know that you will be on their email lists.
She also advises that you understand return policies, just in case, before you complete your purchase.
