In a five-to-four decision, the US Supreme Court ruled gay and lesbian couples have the right to marry. It’s a ruling that upsets conservatives in Louisiana. Louisiana Clerks of Court are still not issuing licenses to gay couples. They are waiting for a 25-day challenge period to lapse before issuing any licenses to same sex couples.
