Louisiana gas prices continue to fall, now down to a statewide average of $3.09 a gallon ahead of the busiest travel week of the year. The Louisiana National Guard has fired Col Scott Desormeaux, commander of its 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team after an investigation found he sent inappropriate text messages to other service members. According to Army Times Col Jon Lloyd will take over that position.
