West Baton Rouge Parish deputies rolled up on a knife attack in progress Sunday on Interstate 10, and had to shoot the assailant. State Police Trooper Chis Reed says a Motorist Assistance Patrol worker stopped to help a broken down driver, but was stabbed for his trouble. Deputies witnessed it and shot the attacker.
