Tragedy at the University of Virginia as three football players were fatally shot in an on-campus shooting. The suspected gunman is former Cavalier football player Chris Jones who is in custody. Two other U-V-A football players are also injured by gunfire, including former University High of Baton Rouge running back Michael Hollins, who reportedly had a surgery that went well.
LSU beat Arkansas 13-10 on Saturday and Alabama’s win over Ole Miss secured an SEC West Championship for the Tigers in coach Brian Kelly’s first season. It was not a good day for the Tigers offense in Fayetteville as quarterback Jayden Danels threw for only 86 yards and rushed for ten yards and was sacked seven times.
