Three people are dead, including a three year old, and one person was critically injured after a shooting in St. Martin Parish Tuesday night. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic disturbance just outside Breaux Bridge just before 8pm. A spokeswoman says all four had been shot and they are not looking for any suspects. Further details on this incident are being released at this hour.

One of the victims has been identified through the media as Shannon Hudson, a Baton Rouge rapper known as Young Ready.

The Baton rouge Police Department says a man turned himself in Tuesday after he was wanted for allegedly stealing his dad’s identity to take out nearly $70,000 in loans. 29-year-old Gabadiah Jemar McClay was booked into parish prison on counts of forgery and identity theft according to a department spokesman.

The Louisiana chapter of the NAACP has written a letter to Governor Jindal asking that the “Sons of the Confederate Veterans” license plate be removed as an option here. The Office of Motor Vehicles says there are currently 160 of those plates, which feature a Confederate flag, on the road. LA-NAACP President Ernest Johnson…:
