Saints Head Coach Dennis Allen announced Andy Dalton will be the starting quarterback moving forward even with Jameis Winston a full participant in practice. When asked about what went into the decision, Coach Allen said it was performance-based. The offense under Dalton has been one of the top-ranked in both yards and points, and Allen said Dalton will keep the starting job if that trend continues. Dalton and the Saints will host the 2-4 Raiders at noon this Sunday.
LSU fans celebrated the Tigers’ 45-20 comeback win over undefeated Ole Miss by storming the field last Saturday. The Tigers took control of the SEC West, but the school received a $250,000 fine for the celebration. Head Coach Brian Kelly says he was surprised by the fan’s reaction.

The Pelicans’ hot start continued last night after a 113-111 win over the Mavericks. With starters Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, and Herb Jones out, the Pels showed off their depth in the short-handed win with 8 players reaching double-digit scoring. Forward Trey Murphy led the team with 22 points on a perfect night shooting. The Pels move to 3-1 on the season with a road trip beginning in Pheonix Friday night.
