Police in Baton Rouge make an arrest in last Friday’s shooting incident at a frat party near the Southern University campus that left 11 people shot and injured. BRPD Sgt. L’Jean McKneely says 22-year-0old Jaicedric Williams was taken into custody Sunday. Two accessories to the crime were arrested late Friday. McKneely says gunfire erupted after some kind of argument…:

East Baton Rouge D.A. Hillar Moore has asked Williams be held without bond, and a judge has agreed.

Football season has brought a nice spike in revenue from sports betting in Louisiana. State Gaming Control Board Chairman Ronnie Johns says September saw almost $4-million from sportsbook parlors and apps flow into state coffers…:
