A report from the state legislative auditor’s office says as a result of more fuel efficiency vehicles and the expected increase in electric charging vehicles, the state will lose 563-million dollars in motor fuel tax revenues from 2023 to 2032. Performance Audit Manager Gina Brown says this means less funding for our roads, so state lawmakers need to consider other options to fund transportation needs…

Kevin Daigle is heading to Angola’s Death Row after he was sentenced to death in Lake Charles yesterday for the 2015 fatal shooting of Louisiana State Police Trooper Steven Vincent. Vincent encountered what he thought was a stranded motorist on a rural road, when Daigle started shot Vincent in the face.
