A judge in Lake Charles has given a death sentence to convicted cop killer Kevin Daigle, for the 2015 murder of Louisiana State Police Trooper Steven Vincent. Daigle shot Vincent with a shotgun on a rural roadside in Calcasieu Parish. Vincent’s brother, also a trooper, says he’s ”glad to live in a country where we have a justice system.” The family Sys they know a lengthy appeal process for Daigle will follow.
