Saints head coach Dennis Allen said today they will make a game time decision on who will start at quarterback tomorrow night when the Black and Gold face the Arizona Cardinals. It appears Andy Dalton will make his fourth consecutive start as he was the one who spoke to the media before the team left New Orleans.

The Saints have ruled out the following players for tomorrow night, wide receivers Jarvis Landry and Michael Thomas, plus tight end Adam Trautman, offensive guard Andrus Peat and cornerback Marshon Lattimore.

LSU coach Brian Kelly says there’s a chance running back Armoni Goodwin will play Saturday after missing the last three weeks with a hamstring injury, while Jack Bech is back practicing after leaving the Florida game with a back injury.

Louisiana Tech head football coach Sonny Cumbie says star inside linebacker Tyler Grubbs will not play this Saturday and for the foreseeable future because of an injury. Grubbs leads the team in tackles and tackles for a loss. The Bulldogs will host Rice on Saturday for homecoming.

The Pelicans tip off a new season tonight with high hopes they can make a serious run in the Western Conference playoffs. New Orleans has a healthy Zion Williamson after missing all of last season with a foot injury.

Williamson averaged 26 points a game on 60 percent from the field and 7 rebounds over his 85-game career. Pelicans Coach Willie Green says his physical abilities are impressive, but his love for the game and basketball IQ are what truly make him special…

LSU men’s basketball has been picked to finish eighth in the SEC according to a poll released today by the conference. Fifth-year senior K-J Williams, who was the Ohio Valley Conference player of the Year last season for Murray State and now plays for the Tigers, was a second team all-conference selection.
