Lafayette Police say a suspect who went around the parish and fatally shot three people yesterday took his own life at a family members home. Authorities say 36-year-old Andres Jamal Felix of Lafayette shot and killed his estranged wife and two other individuals at three different locations. Police have not provided a motive.

Classic country fans are mourning the death of Loretta Lynn, who died yesterday at the age of 90. Lynn performed several times in Shreveport on KWKH’s Louisiana Hayride.
