LSU Football Coach Brian Kelly says Jayden Daniels will start at quarterback this Saturday after leaving the Auburn game with a knee injury. The coach says it’s great that Daniels has yet to throw an interception this season, but wants to see him more aggressive in order to spark more big plays in the passing game…

LSU fans would like to see wide receiver Kayshon Boutte get the ball more. He was only targeted twice in the victory over Auburn. Kelly says part of the issue is building trust with a new quarterback. He says they would absolutely like to get him the ball more and Boutte has handled himself the right way as he continues to work for the team. The Tigers host eighth ranked Tennessee this Saturday.

The Saints continue to recover today from their trip to London that ended with a loss to Minnesota. Coach Dennis Allens ays he wants to eliminate the mistakes that have led to a three-game losing streak…

The Saints lead the NFL in offensive turnovers with eleven and the defense has only forced four turners. New Orleans hosts Seattle this Sunday.

In the latest high school football polls. Destrehan remains the number one ranked team in Class Five-A according to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. Undefeated Parkway and St. Augustine have moved into the Top 10. The Panthers are coming off a win over Captain Shreve and they are ranked eighth, while the Purple Knights are ranked ninth.

The Pelicans tip-off their preseason schedule tonight as they are in Chicago to face the Bulls. It will be the first time we’ve seen Zion Williamson on the court since May of 2021. New Orleans has also announced they’ve signed Larry Nance Junior to a contract extension.
