Kelly says part of the issue is building trust with a new quarterback. He says they would absolutely like to get him the ball more and Boutte has handled himself the right way as he continues to work for the team. The Tigers host eighth ranked Tennessee this Saturday.

In the latest high school football polls. Destrehan remains the number one ranked team in Class Five-A according to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. Undefeated Parkway and St. Augustine have moved into the Top 10. The Panthers are coming off a win over Captain Shreve and they are ranked eighth, while the Purple Knights are ranked ninth.

The Pelicans tip-off their preseason schedule tonight as they are in Chicago to face the Bulls. It will be the first time we’ve seen Zion Williamson on the court since May of 2021. New Orleans has also announced they’ve signed Larry Nance Junior to a contract extension.
