Ian is now a tropical storm and as it moves north northeast a hurricane warning is in effect for the coast of South Carolina. Once Florida is surveyed it’s expected that the name Ian will be retired. State Climatologist Barry Kiem says the finally tally of Ian’s aftermath could be alarming.
